We just landed in Colombia! It's a very beautiful country... judging by what I can see from the airport window. We really want to explore it a little more in the SEVEN empty hours we have before we leave for Lima, but we're afraid they won't let us back in.
The flight went well, only a little turbulence here and there. I freaked out slightly, but the "Fly Happy" natural anti-anxiety stuff I took helped a lot. Neither of us really slept on the plane, so we're a little out of it at the moment. We ate at this little place called "Cafe Gourmet" where I enjoyed/picked at the most un-omelettey omelette I've ever had. Our server was nice and helpful, so we felt bad when he had to deal with twelve tables on his own and a few snobby Americans who couldn't understand why they had to sit down to order, and complained about it loudly...because the louder you speak the better they'll understand you? Barf. I learned last time that it's a lot easier to just say you're from Canada, there's fewer evil stares and children running away screaming "Bush? Diablo!" (this seriously happened to me). Ahh, good times.
Currently Tawnya and I are sitting in a semi-vacant terminal attempting to rest a little. It's her turn to sleep, so I'm blogging!

So far, so great. The flight to Lima is about two and a half hours, no biggie! I cannot freaking wait to be on Peruvian soil already...not that I don't love you, Colombia. Hope all is well back home.

Love ya, mean it
E
