Tawnya and I arrived in Cusco today! We stayed in Lima last night, in the nicest hotel I´ve ever been allowed to set foot in. No joke, when we drove up to it I thought it to be the headquarters of some multi-national pharmaceutical corporation. The guard greeted us in the driveway, the bus boy took our bags the the room, free internet, a PILLOW menu! Yes, and by "pillow menu" I literally mean a menu with a list of different types of pillows for all your pillow needs! (Thanks, Tawnya´s mom).

We left for the airport around 3:30 this morning, and ready for a fabulous experience in Cusco, home to Machu Picchu and many a llama. But alas, the sky was not ready for us--due to poor weather conditions we were grounded for about four sleepless hours before we were able to take-off. Once we were on the plane everything was dandy!

We arrived safely, got randomly picked up at the airport by members of the hotel staff (thanks, Tawnya´s mom!) and taken to our hotel. After a five hour nap, we ventured into the city in the direction of the Plaza de Armas, located at the heart of Cusco. There´s a ton more to tell but I fear my internet time is about to expire, and my brain along with it.

Yay for coca tea!
Love ya, mean it
